ABOUT

I've spent my career in education because I believe great teams can accomplish incredible things – and I've seen it happen time and again. After decades as a teacher, coach, and district leader, I started The Teaming Edge to help K-12 educators build the kind of collaborative teams that actually move the needle on student achievement.
What gets me excited is working with teacher leaders, instructional coaches, and administrators who are ready to take a step back, see the bigger picture, and then take focused action that makes a real difference. Whether I'm facilitating professional development or coaching educational leaders, my approach is straightforward: let's figure out where you want to go, what's actually working, and how to get there together.
I love learning about new approaches and technologies – probably a holdover from my days in STEM education – and I'm always borrowing great ideas from other industries. These days, I'm channeling that curiosity into creating digital resources and online courses that can help more educational teams thrive, even when I can't be there in person.
My background includes classroom teacher, district coach supporting K-12 teams, coordinator leading a coaching endorsement program, and designing a new teacher mentoring program. But honestly, what I'm most proud of are the moments when a team I've worked with tells me they've found their rhythm and are seeing real results with their students.
When I'm not geeking out about team dynamics or tinkering with new ways to support educators, you'll probably find me training for my next race or spending time with my family. I bring the same energy and persistence to a long run that I do to helping teams find their breakthrough moments.

I support educators increase their capacity to take a more comprehensive look at teaching and learning throughout the school.
